Exciting News
Back in August I mentioned a number of significant projects that kept me from blogging for the better part of a year. The most exciting of these projects was to produce a set of 24 DVDs on the Book of Revelation. Most of this was shot on location in Turkey and Greece and in studio in southern California last summer. Things are moving along and the DVDs should be ready by March of next year, the latest. I will let you know here, of course.
But perhaps more exciting is that the series was accepted for broadcast by the Hope Channel and will be available on Direct TV and by satellite dish and internet beginning on January 2. The plan is to broadcast the 24 programs one per week on weekends. They plan to run the program five times every weekend beginning on Saturday the 2nd of January at 4 PM EST. Other scheduled times are 10 PM EST on the 2nd and 5 AM, 11 AM and 5 PM EST on Sunday the 3rd of January. Each program will include material shot on location in the area of ancient Asia Minor (modern-day Turkey, and the island of Patmos), and clips from some of the world’s finest specialists in the study of the Bible. My co-host will be Graeme Bradford of Australia, who has decades of experience in holding meetings for the general public on biblical themes.
The programs will include some footage that has probably never been seen on TV before, such as the remains of a small odeon in a back yard of ancient Philadelphia. We were also able to get special permission to visit ancient sites before and after hours, so we could do filming without having to work around large crowds. Among the 25 scholars who contributed to the series you will recognize accents from Germany, Norway, Africa, China, Korea, Australia, New Zealand and, of course, the USA.
You can watch the programs online at http://www.hopetv.org/watch-now/watch-live-online/english/

Jon & Graeme are doing a wonderful job explaining the book of Revelations...Revelations is opening up for me more each week. Todays closing comments on Revelations 13 said it ALL... You said more than just this, but this is the part I got "we are all part of this Christian movement that cause this pain in the past"... Continue to do GOD'S WILL FAITHFULLY.

The book of revelation has always been a tough one for me since I came to know more about it. What happened in the past, what happens now wasn’t as much as important for me when it came to what lied in the future. The future seemed more engrossing for me. I really would love to know more of it and hence I will be purchasing your 24 DVD’s for sure. Just tell me where I can buy it!

Did you order through revelationhope.com in Australia or you found it in USA

revelationhope.com in Australia is the ONLY source for ordering the DVD series for the Revelation Hope. It is remarkable series and well worth it.
For those interested in more comprehensive look at Revelation ... you can go to The Battle of Armageddon Shop from the link at the top right column on this page to order the comprehensive 60 CD (audio only) set from Dr. Paulien.

My wife and I live out a bit in Colorado and were excited to find the Hope channel on DirecTV so we have Sabbath programs on the Sabbath ! I do have good christian friends who do not spend much time in the book of Revelation--and it seems everyone is waiting for something to happen in Jerusalem--which seems to be a distraction that takes away from the message of these end times. I would like to give these DVD's for a gift to them and let the Spirit take it's course. So I'll try to find out how to do that--if you could send an address--Email perhaps--that would be great. Thanks again for this study--this is the right time for Revelation !!!! Terry Foss

Dear Jon,
I am very glad that you developed a very useful site on the book of Revelation. I have been a keen follower of your TV programme you present with Graeme. Please continue. I am being helped alot to understand Revelation's prophecies. The Lord bless you abundantly- and use you site to enlighten many.
My first encounter with your writings was way back, I think in 2000 through a bible study an elder presented titled 'The Final Deception'. The study was attributed to you as having been source from "The Quiet Hour".I am Zambian. Cheers

I just saw the program about Rev chapter 12. When will the next program be on 13? You said it was about the beast.

I assume you are talking about the Hope Channel broadcasts. Their practice is to run the series week by week, so the next program should be a week later at the same time.
